This position will work between 30 and 40 hours per week primarily in 10-12 hour shifts between the hours of 7 PM and 7 AM.

This position will supervise the job expectations of student staff working multiple different positions each hour. This ranges between 10 to 30 student staff per hour.

If confrontation or problems arise, the employee is trained to communicate and relay concerns to the supervisor on call and is not trained for confrontation handling, only reporting.

This position includes requirements to move around campus on foot, via golf carts or by University vehicle as well as the potential to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong personality skills to de-escalate confrontations you may be presented with.

Salary $11.96/hrly minimum to $14.36/hrly midpoint
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Ability to operate a vehicle. Must have clean driving record and current valid driver’s license. Ability to answer telephones, type on computer equipment and speak clearly to personnel in the field via radio.

Must be able to be extremely mobile to move about campus during entire shift checking on staff in different locations.

UWG Housing and Residence Life is a 9-complex almost 1,000,000 square foot area of management.

Ability to lift 50 lbs., job may require the movement of materials to respond to situations.
