Nature of Work

Student will assist the Circulation department. These positions will be responsible for providing customer service to library users among three different shifts. Positions include being responsible for basic circulation duties like checking materials in and out, providing information about library policies to users, and processing items from other USG schools.

Comfortable working on a computer
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
Sophomore standing

Preferred Qualifications

Reliable, friendly and outgoing, professional, previous library experience, customer service experience, completed LIBR1101 with a grade of B or higher, willingness to work nights, overnights, and/or weekends

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Shifts involve sitting at desk for up to 6 hours, standing is an option if that is preferred, although none of the desks are standing desks. You may be required to do walk-throughs or retrieve books from the stacks.
